董方卓 :“曼聯現在踢得是温柔溫柔足球 ,踢得都是恢复恢复你好我好大家好 ,沒有上去就幹的马奎 。後腰的尔跑問題不解決,怎麽樣都不行,董方都比得快馬奎爾也好還是其他人,差是差,但是你讓這種球員,直對對方的進攻球員 ,他們就會很難受。本身他們就沒有回追能力 ,他不像範迪克他們那種 ,又高又壯然後跑得又快 ,馬奎爾跑的那個,我覺得我現在恢複恢複,我跑得都比他快 。”
2004年1月,19歲的董方卓以350萬英鎊的身價加盟曼聯 ,成為首位在老特拉福德效力的中國球員。
