在歐洲杯前的变阵兩場熱身賽中，德波爾麾下的荷兰荷蘭隊皆采用532陣型，有不少荷蘭球迷對這一保守的球迷陣型並不看好，要求德波爾變陣433 。用飞球迷用飛機在國家隊訓練場上空拉出橫幅，机训上麵寫著：“弗蘭克，练场拉横就用433陣型。上空”
