People are going wild with the new stage builder in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, which was added to the game in the free version 3.0.0 update Wednesday.

Smash players immediately jumped into the stage builder and have been sharing their custom creations online, some of them being clever and impressively detailed battle arenas, others being more comical than practical. And, of course, it was only a matter of time before people started making lewd stages.

Perhaps the most clever/goofy/weird stage that's come out of it so far is a stage called "spicy meatball," which contains a gigantic Mario that swallows players and poops them out with such force that they die.

One of the coolest stages so far is a throwback to the opening cinematic of the first game in the series, Super Smash Bros.for the Nintendo 64.

Another user created a stage inspired by the video game series Danganrompa, featuring the face of character Monokuma right in the center.

The stage builder's extensive features allow players to create 3D environments, opening up lots of possibilities for designs that don't necessarily get in the way of the flow of a stage. This one has the Homestar Runner character Trogdor looming over the action.

For those with less patience to design something eye-catching, they're been testing out just how little they can get away with.

And then there's Kirb.

On the flip side of all this, there's all the people that looked at the stage builder and ran with it in the most crude way, which is its own sort of fun.

Nintendo certainly expected this, but there's no way they're happy about it.

Undoubtedly as Smashplayers get to spend more time in the stage builder, the creations we'll see in the community will get better and better. And honestly, probably dumber and dumber. For now though, they're mostly just jokes.

Have fun out there, gang. Just don't get yourselves banned.
