With a time of 53 seconds on the game's lowest difficulty (Agent), many gamers have pondered if it was even possible to go faster. 126 people are tied alongside Bosshardt's record.  。

But now, after 15 years, that record has been broken by Australian speedrunner Karl Jobst, who clocked in with a run of 0:52 on Sunday.。

The run was recorded on Twitch, complete with Jobst's ecstatic reaction.。

"I'm losing my mind ... look at it!" an emotional Jobst said.

Jobst later revealed on Reddit that it took 250 hours of gameplay to get to his record. "I fucking clutched it!" he wrote.
