Unwilling to compete with a neighboring home's impressive Christmas light display, Jami Kelly of Michigan decided her best bet was to publicly acknowledge her neighbor's hard work.
She put up a sign that reads "DITTO" with an arrow pointed next door, and called it Christmas.
SEE ALSO:Christmas lights are the only way to accessorize your beard this seasonShe tells local news affiliate Fox 2 that the sign is meant as a compliment towards her neighbors and their festive display.
"We admire their lights every year, we look forward to their lights, my kids love their lights...We've got the neighbors that have the best lights in town."
Kelly says she built the sign with the help of another neighbor, a project that took four hours to complete and is a solid alternative to breaking out the ladder.
