The average weight of a newborn baby is about seven and-a-half pounds, according to parenting websites.

Well, Natalie Bancroft of Spokane Valley, Washington, naturally delivered a healthy baby boy in her home that weighed 11 pounds 2 ounces at birth. No, that's not a typo, her child weighed 11 pounds 2 ounces at birth.

Bancroft invited birth and maternity photographer Laura Fifield to document the moment, and she masterfully captured an incredible reaction from Bancroft just moments after delivering her baby boy.

On her website, Fifield mentions that Bancroft and her midwives knew the baby would be on the larger side, but they were not expecting an 11 pound baby.

Fifield also notes that the child's gender was a surprise to Bancroft, which may have added to the surprise on her face in the photos.
