The Coastal Carolina and San Jose State football teams are scheduled to meet in the 2023 Hawaii Bowl on Saturday, Dec. 23 at Clarence T.C. Ching Complex in Honolulu, Hawaii. The game is scheduled to start at 10:30 p.m. ET/7:30 p.m. PT. 

Coastal Carolina enters the matchup 7-5 overall. Most recently, James Madison beat CCU 56-14 on Nov. 25. San Jose State comes into the contest 7-5 overall. On Nov. 25, SJSU defeated UNLV 37-31. This is the first meeting between the CCU and SJSU football programs.
