The network announced on Thursday that it has picked up James Corden's segment "Drop the Mic" -- which has pitted celebrities like Cara Delevigne, Anne Hathaway and Kevin Hart against each other in epic rap battles -- as a 16-episode series.
Corden will executive produce with Ben Winston and Jensen Karp, a.k.a. Hot Karl.
"Drop the Micis such an exciting show, and we can't wait to begin making it," Winston said in a statement."Every time we have done this segment on TheLate Late Show, it has become a massive viral moment. Now with TBS as our perfect partner, we hope to create some really memorable television."
The news comes a few weeks after Apple Music picked up CBS' spinoff of "Carpool Karaoke," another massively successful segment from The Late Late Show with James Corden.
