Everybody loves a good sports dog. The world was particularly blessed on Sunday when a very good dog invaded a Turkish soccer pitch, trying to get in on the action.

The very furry and adorable incident happened during a TFF First League match between Fatih Karagumruk Spor and Giresunspor in Istanbul, Turkey.

The dog took the field like a new version of Air Bud: World Pupand chased after the ball, interrupting play but embracing sweet, sweet freedom in all its glory.

At one point, players rolled a ball to the sidelines in an effort to get the dog off the field but to no avail as the VERY GOOD BOY OR GIRL simply took the ball back on the pitch.

Eventually, one of the players simply picked the dog up and removed it from the pitch. The pup, clearly disappointed, didn't put up much of a fight.

Fatih Karagumruk Spor took the match 2-1 but the realwinner of the day was that very good soccer dog.
