Remember when Mashable's Ray Wong felt like a god because he held a 400GB microSD card on his finger? Well, Integral Memory's new 512GB microSD card has just demoted him to a lesser god. A demigod, if you will.

That's right: If you're really, really hungry for more storage space on your Android phone or a camera, you can now boost its capacity to half a terabyte with a tiny microSD card, the most capacious such card yet.

The card supports the Video Speed Class 10 (V10) standard, which means it has a minimum sequential write speed of 10MB/s, but Integral Memory says the card delivers up to 80MB/s transfer speeds. In other words, it's fast.

While 512GB might sound excessive to most users, anyone who records a lot of 4K video (and with today's smartphones, 4K video recording is quite a common feature) will appreciate the extra storage space.

The card will be available in February this year, but there's no word on price yet.
