reported that a live-action reboot is in the works.。

reports that Sunset Inc., the studio behind the original 26-episode series, and Midnight Radio will produce the reboot. Chris Yost, most known for being the head writer of Marvel Comics, will pen the adaptation.

Though the series ended on a bit of a cliffhanger, it's unclear whether this new iteration will pick up where the crew of the Bebop left off, or introduce them all over again.
