AJ Tabangay was on an UberPool ride when his long time college crush hopped in.。

"Upon arriving [at] his pick-up point, I [saw] him from afar and my heart started pumping intensely, I couldn't believe it," AJ, who is based in the Philippines, told。 Mashable. 。

"When he entered, I pretended that it was nothing...[but I went on] a Twitter spree and constantly messaged my friends to devise a plan so I could converse with him. I ended up just feeling happy [and] giddy that I got to ride with him."。

AJ's story, which happened last year, picked up some social traction, but has now become truly immortalised in an Uber ad.。

"It happened to me couple of weeks ago...it's the driver that happens to be my long time crush, that [was the] very first time we had a conversation," said one comment on Facebook.。

。AJ's story is part of a campaign in which riders are asked to share stories about the trips they take on Uber.。"AJ's [story] was fresh yet totally relatable... and we felt it provided a glimpse into the different personalities you might encounter while on an UberPool ride," an Uber spokesperson told。
