2020-21賽季，青年熱刺中途解雇穆裏尼奧，队担隨後由梅森臨時接替主帥一職，展主他最終率領熱刺獲得了聯賽第七的热刺任球成績，也幫助熱刺獲得了2021-22賽季的官方管歐戰資格。此前，梅森熱刺已經官宣前狼隊主帥努諾成為球隊的回归新帥。
