The brand-new Biden administration has its work cut out for it in its efforts to undo the damage of the Trump years, but it wasted no time making one small but meaningful change to the official White House website. As of Jan. 20, Joe Biden's first day in office, the White House contact page now asks for the pronouns of people writing in.

Offering "she/her," "he/him," "they/them," "other," and "prefer not the share," the gesture to acknowledge all people's basic humanity stands in stark contrast to the anti-LGBTQ measures pushed by the Trump administration.
