LONDON -- A man's Facebook complaint about two women wearing pyjamas in Tesco has kicked off a huge backlash on social media. 。

Earlier in the week, Chris Cooke shared a photograph of two women wearing pyjamas while they shopped in a branch of Tesco in Salford, UK. 。

He posted the photo on Tesco's Facebook wall with the following message, which now appears to have been deleted:。

"Dear Tesco, please can you put a rule in place that people like this will not be served in your stores. It's bloody disgusting. This was at 7pm last night at your Tesco Salford store and I have seen other people dressed similar on a regular basis. I mean who doesn't have the time to get changed into clothes to go shopping."。

It wasn't long before the post started attracting negative attention.。

By Friday, the original post had been picked up in several media outlets. And by midday on Friday, the hashtag #Pyjamas began trending. 。
