The player with the most votes from each country became the designated captain of their country's team; three more team slots were filled by the people with the next three highest vote totals. The remaining two slots were picked by the team's captain.。

The top sixteen teams, including six that will automatically qualify, will battle for the championship at BlizzCon in Anaheim, California.。
