Even when they're explicitly for kids, Disney movies can be scary. A new Chrome extension from creator Thomas Park lets users skip the more well-known "scary parts" of select movies on Disney+.
No Scary Parts defines these scenes as "overly dramatic, traumatic, or just plain creepy." It's currently available for Beauty and the Beast (1991), Fantasia, Frozen, The Little Mermaid, and Moana, and is taking requests for new titles (may we suggest The Lion Kingand Bambi?).
Once you add the extension, scary parts appear purple in the film's progress bar. When a scary scene begins, the title automatically skips ahead to the end of it -- just be prepared to answer some plot questions if you're with first-time viewers.

The No Scary Parts website also offers a preview of which sections of movies will be skipped with the extension (Fantasiais a real if-you-know-you-know situation). You can hover for the exact timestamp. If the extension doesn't work at first, check Chrome settings and then refresh to make sure.

No Scary Parts is available in the Google Chrome web store.
