Few things are bigger than Bigfoot's, um ... appeal right now.。

After Virginian Republican congressional candidate Denver Riggleman was accused of being a lover of Bigfoot erotica by his Democratic opponent Leslie Cockburn, searches for actual Bigfoot porn have skyrocketed. 。

Pornhub reports that the number of searches containing the word "Bigfoot" rose by a gargantuan 8,037% increase within 24 hours of when the news broke. That, of course, means that a huge number of people flocked to the porn site to see what Bigfoot erotica is all about. And who can blame them?

There's no denying this massive leap in searchesCredit: pornhub 。

And as it turns out, porn, like politics, is local. Virginia residents were 38% more likely to search for "Bigfoot" than any other state, according to Pornhub's data. 。

Pornhub isn't alone. Other porn sites are seeing similarly huge spikes. Searches for porn involving the mysterious woodland monster have gone up nearly 1000% within the past 24 hours on porn platform xHamster.。

"Bigfoot has long been a subject of eroticism," Alex Hawkins, VP of porn platform xHamster said in a statement. "Explicit videos featuring the big ape go back at least to the 1970s, but in many ways the scenario — an ape ravaging an innocent woman — date back to the 1930s with King Kong." 。

It's not unusual for porn searches to spike like this when something is in the news, but this jump, like Bigfoot himself, are unusually large.。
