北京時間8月11日，官方国香港队“2023中國亞洲杯”官方發布消息，亚预选2022年亞足聯烏茲別克斯坦U23亞洲杯預選賽再次抽簽，洲杯K组中國香港隊分至原朝鮮隊所在的赛再K組。

本屆預選賽將於2021年10月23日-31日在巴林、次抽約旦、签中科威特、分至卡塔爾、官方国香港队塔吉克斯坦、亚预选阿聯酋以及中國台北、洲杯K组印度尼西亞、赛再蒙古和新加坡舉行，次抽十一個小組第一和四個成績最好的签中小組第二將晉級正賽。
