A video has emerged showing a three year old boy riding a 20-foot-long python in floodwaters.。

According to the Daily Mail, the snake is a family pet, kept in their home in Thanh Hoa province in northern Vietnam.。

Footage shows the boy sitting on the snake and "riding" it, the same way you would a horse.

The boy's aunt, An Nguyen, dispelled rumours that the footage was fake and told the。 Daily Mail 。that the family have had the python for four years as a pet. 。
