One of the most unexpected rare delights of 2018 (and they are。 rare。) is Netflix's。 Queer Eye。reboot, which came out in February and made us feel all kinds of warm, fuzzy feelings we'd forgotten about over the past couple years. 。

The show's architecture expert opens up about regularly attending church throughout his childhood. After he came out, his community severed ties with him, and he stopped going to church. A tearful Tan tells Skyler he feels stupid. The episode is eye-opening for all of us, but Tan in particular, who admits he isn't very immersed in the queer community and has never even met a trans person before. Understanding comes from listening.。

Skyler invokes the YouTube star as a style icon and cultural hero multiple times in the episode. Karamo works his magic, and Hall arrives to surprise Skyler at his home, where they bond over his new clothes and lifestyle, and then move on to deeper topics like Skyler's transition, surgery, and family.。
