We didn't think the McConaissance would include so much poultry. 。

Matthew McConaughey teamed up with the bourbon distillery Wild Turkey in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky, on Monday to pass out frozen turkeys for Thanksgiving.。

A group of 250 volunteers along with McConaughey were able to pass out 4,500 frozen turkeys to local families in the area, which were provided by Butterball. 。

The volunteers helping with the project were actually caught by surprise when they discovered that the lead actor would be helping to hand out the turkeys.。

During a Facebook live video posted by McConaughey he said, "We believe in our family the more you're thankful for, the more you show gratification for, the more you create in your life to be thankful for."。
