Wow, has March Madness been fun so far, or what?
(Unless, of course, you had one of the following as the winning team in your bracket: Kansas, Purdue, Arizona, Marquette, Baylor, Duke, Kentucky… )
With a 15th seed, Princeton, still around, the Sweet 16 could easily keep this wild ride going.

Quick hit: Behind a 27-point night by Markquis Nowell, Kansas State knocked out Kentucky 75-69 to get into the Sweet 16 on Sunday night. In the first round, the Wildcats (25-9) beat Montana. Meanwhile, Michigan State outlasted Marquette 69-60 as Tyler Walker scored 23 points. The Spartans (21-12) beat USC in the first round.

Thursday: Arkansas (8) vs. UConn (4)

Location: T-Mobile Arena, Las Vegas
Quick hit: Arkansas pulled off one of the second round’s biggest wins on Saturday by knocking off the defending NCAA champ, Kansas, 72-71. The Razorbacks (22-13) downed Illinois 73-63 in the first round. Connecticut handily defeated Saint Mary’s 70-55 behind a stifling defense that didn’t allow any Gaels player to score in double figures. The Huskies (27-8) crushed Iona 87-63.

Thursday: Florida Atlantic (9) vs. Tennessee (4)

Quick hit:Florida Atlantic was able to halt the ultimate Cinderella, Fairleigh Dickinson (remember, they beat No. 1 seed Purdue), 78-70 as Johnell Davis scored 29 points. The Owls (33-3) knocked Memphis out in the first round, 66-65. Tennessee was able to squash Duke 65-52 behind a physical defensive game. The Volunteers (25-10) beat Louisiana 58-55 in the first round.

Quick hit: Gonzaga slipped past TCU 84-81 in the second round, with Drew Timme scoring 28 points. In the first round, the Bulldogs (30-5) beat Grand Canyon 82-70. UCLA outlasted Northwestern 68-63 as Jaime Jaquez Jr. scored 24 points. The Bruins (31-5) bounced UNC Asheville in Round 1 86-53.

Friday: Alabama (1) vs. San Diego State (5)

Location: KFC Yum! Center, Louisville, Ky.
Quick hit:The tournament’s No. 1 overall seed, Alabama hasn’t been challenged so far. The Crimson Tide (31-5) have cruised past Texas A&M-Corpus Christi 96-75 and Maryland 73-51. San Diego State used a commanding defense to knock out Furman 75-52. The Aztecs (29-6) downed Charleston 63-57 in the first round.

Friday: Houston (1) vs. Miami (5)

Location: T-Mobile Center, Kansas City
Quick hit: The second of the remaining No. 1 seeds, Houston had little trouble with Auburn behind a dominating second half, winning 81-64. The Cougars (33-3) got past Northern Kentucky 63-52 in the first round. Miami was also dominant over the weekend, slicing past Indiana 85-69 behind Isaiah Wong’s 27 points. The Hurricanes (27-7) knocked out Drake 63-56 in the first round.

Quick hit: A couple of surprises face off here. Creighton bumped Baylor, a dark horse for many NCAA pundits, 85-76 as Ryan Nembhard scored 30 points. The Blue Jays (23-12) ousted NC State 72-63 in the first round. Princeton is the remaining Cinderella – the Tigers (23-8) knocked out Missouri on Saturday 78-63 after shocking Arizona 59-55 on Thursday.

Quick hit:Xavier is here following an 84-73 win over Pittsburgh, thanks to Jack Nunge’s 18-point performance. The Musketeers (27-9) edged Kennesaw State 72-67 in the first round. Texas, behind a huge 28-point, 10-rebound game by Dylan Disu, knocked off Penn State 71-66. The Longhorns (28-8) took care of Colgate 81-61 in the first round.
