北京時間1月22日晚，埃弗2021-22賽季英超第23輪比賽，顿球埃弗頓主場0-1不敵維拉。迷赛比賽上半場補時階段，中投掷杂中埃弗頓舊將迪涅助攻幫助維拉領先後與隊友一起來到角旗區慶祝，物砸隨後被埃弗頓球迷扔下的拉球瓶子砸中，同時被砸中的员已還有卡什。

賽後，被警捕埃弗頓官方表示，埃弗警察已經將在對陣維拉的顿球比賽中投擲物品的球迷抓獲。該球迷將配合警方調查，迷赛埃弗頓俱樂部則會對任何被發現投擲東西的中投掷杂中球迷發出禁令。
