But it turns out Oreos also make a great canvas.。

Tisha Cherry is a full-time occupational therapist. But one look at her Instagram and its clear she is also using food to make art in a way that no one else is, especially when it comes to the simple Oreo.

Seeing the world through an Oreo crème lens sounds pretty amazing, especially if it leads to creations like this one.。

Tisha's recent Oreo project is not her first foray into the world of food as art. As unbelievable as it seems, Tisha tries her best not to use additional food coloring for her Oreo art.。

"I collect the limited edition Oreos throughout the years so I have a collection of flavors/colors," Tisha described. "My 'tool kit' consists of a toothpick, a variety of knives and often times my fingers and hands!"。"。

Completing an Oreo takes anywhere from a few minutes to a few hours, and Tisha did touch on the fact that it's tough to balance her work on her art with her full-time job as an occupational therapist. However, her passion for this is just too strong to be denied. She is not above dropping everything to make an unplanned grocery store supply run.

Tisha hopes that her Oreo project will encourage others to have a little more appreciation for the mundane things in life, like food and Oreos, because they can be wonderful if given more consideration. 。

"I recently was tagged in a post where an art teacher had her fifth graders look at my Oreo art and make their own creations. That just made my heart explode," Tisha shared. "That's a prime example of what I hope people think of when they see my art."。
