Mark Ronson was there, strumming along, but this was Gaga's spotlight. Clad completely in white and playing on a feathered piano adorned with angel wings, the superstar singer's stripped down production was a perfect showcase.

Just a piano, an acoustic guitar, and Gaga's resonant vocals ringing out across a packed Madison Square Garden. She capped off "Million Reasons" with a sustained high note that prompted cheers from the packed-in crowd at New York's Madison Square Garden. 。

If there was any misstep at all, it's for the Grammys to own, not Gaga. As "Million Reasons" faded away, Gaga -- now standing in front of her piano -- leaned back gently, landing right in the middle of her instrument's angel wings. 。

An overhead view would have perfectly captured an iconic moment, but the live feed cut instead to a more distant crane cam. We saw what Gaga was trying to do, but we didn't get the full effect.。

Not that anyone cared. As Gaga left the Grammys stage, social media exploded with excitement.
