Thomas was playing for England in the final of a cricket tournament against Pakistan. He blamed local weather in Dubai for loosening the socket on the prosthetic leg, which eventually led the leg to fall off. 。

His teammates didn't let go of him easily though. "Having a disability, we all take the fun out of each other a little bit, we all have each others' backs, so we are all trying to give each other grief when something like that happens," he added.。Thomas’ effort however couldn’t save England from winning the match against Pakistan, which claimed a three-wicket victory. People will hardly remember this game for who won, though.。
