6月30日，前国期待球队青島海牛足球俱樂部官方發布了中乙聯賽第九輪的脚肖賽前預熱海報，海報中的智加中甲球員正是前國腳肖智。這也表示肖智正式加盟球隊。盟中

36歲的乙青肖智賽季初加盟中乙河北隊，在接受媒體采訪時，岛队肖智表示自己得到了中超隊的帮助邀請，不過對於他這樣的冲击高齡球員來說，出場機會是前国期待球队非常重要的。加盟中乙河北隊是脚肖了解到球隊衝擊中甲的計劃與決心。

本賽季至今，智加中甲肖智在中乙聯賽中為河北卓奧出場8次，盟中其中3次首發，乙青攻入2球並送出1次助攻。岛队
